The Lobby ( – a new shopping concierge service that brings up-and-coming fashion brands (think Cuyana, Amour Vert and GREATS) to customers at their offices to try on before they buy – is looking to hire a leader to develop and manage our company partnerships.

Job Overview:

As a Business Development Manager you will help us develop our company perks program from the ground up and bring it to all the top companies in the SF Bay Area – and beyond. As an early leader on our team, this position requires an entrepreneurial attitude and the ability to spearhead solutions, be creative and analytical, and work cross-functionally.

Responsibilities and Duties:

You will be responsible for the full life-cycle of our company partnerships from managing our company pipeline and bringing more companies onto our platform to ongoing partner management and ensuring company/employee adoption of our service. Specifically, you will:

  • Develop "The Lobby as a Perk" program
    • Meet with decision makers at companies to understand stakeholders and develop core elements of program, messaging, strategy
    • Create pitch materials
  • Help us onboard more companies
    • Manage and expand our pipeline of target companies
    • Oversee and refine our company outreach process
    • Develop strategies and initiatives to get top companies
    • Pitch and sign new companies weekly
  • Manage and scale existing partnerships
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for company partners
    • Develop promotional materials (emails, flyers, in-office displays, etc.) to promote employee adoption
    • Ensure companies promote program according to our agreements
    • Collaborate with our Community Manager and Ambassadors to scale in-office programs
    • Own weekly reporting of company performance
  • Analyze, optimize & operationalize
    • Find, implement and maintain a scalable solution for partnerships/sales tracking
    • Analyze sales funnel and brainstorming around areas for funnel optimization


  • Bachelor’s degree; MBA or other Master’s degree a plus
  • 3-5+ years of business development, strategy and/or program management experience
  • Highly analytical, strategic thinker and data-driven, but also a creative problem solver
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and experience working in startups
  • Experience in company partnerships a huge plus
